Mines run big teams across shafts, shifts and sites, often with no signal underground. Better Times clocks each miner in at the shaft before they go down, and out when they come back up, on any Android or iOS device.
Clocking that works underground
Miners can also clock in and out underground. The phone works in offline mode, stores each clocking and syncs it to your portal as soon as it is back in range. A dropped signal never means a lost record.

See who is on shift
The dashboard shows who clocked in at each site, and when. Filter by worker, site, date or activity. Supervisors can see who clocked in at the shaft and has not clocked out yet.
Stop buddy clocking
Facial recognition checks each person as they clock in, and their photo appears on the supervisor’s screen. Workers cannot edit their own records. Only approved portal users can make changes, and every change is tracked.
Labour cost and payroll
Every clocking is costed in real time against the site, shift and cost centre you set up. At month end, export an Excel file already in PaySpace format, or use Better Times with Sage Pastel, QuickBooks and most other payroll systems.
Pricing
A monthly base fee, plus as little as R18 per worker per month. You pay for the people who clock in, so your bill moves with your workforce. No contract, no licence fee and no minimum team size.
